Berlusconi compares himself to Santiago Bernabeu

There is very little doubt about Silvio Berlusconi's many successful years as the AC Milan president, but comparing himself to Real Madrid legend Santiago Bernabeu is taking things a little too far. For starters, there is no recollection of Los Blancos' president ever getting busted in underage prostitution. He did manage to win many European championships like Santiago did, but there is no comparison between both figures in football history.

But that didn't stop Berlusconi from telling Libero: "AC Milan took home another trophy, the Supercoppa Italiana, and with that I joined Santiago Bernabeu, the legendary Real Madrid president. We are the two club presidents who have won the most in the history of world football. I do not think I can complain."

The club's president is still giving updates on the inevitable club takeover by Fininvest and Sino-Europe Sports: "The negotiation has already reached a successful outcome. We have only asked for more time for technical and bureaucratic reasons."
