The Manchester City duo have been important parts of the club's title-winning campaign and lead the betting over Harry Kane and Ryan Sessegnon

Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling has been installed as the bookies’ favourite to win PFA Young Player of the Year.

The 23-year-old has been nominated twice before and is just with Paddy Power to scoop the award for the first time and round off a wonderful season for him.

Sterling’s 17 Premier League goals and eight assists have helped City to romp to the title and likely propel him to a starting position at the World Cup.

Teammate Leroy Sane is also nominated for Young Player of the Year and is to win it in just his second season in England.

The German is also nominated for the main prize, which is hardly a surprise considering his nine goals and 12 assists this term, as well as an injection of pace and exciting play he has brought to the Premier League.

Next in the betting comes Harry Kane, who, despite netting 21 times or more in each of his last four seasons, has only won this award once.

Spurs’ star striker looks set to miss out again, though, as he is despite a 25-goal haul to put the Londoners in pole position to claim a Champions League spot again.

Perhaps the most surprising inclusion is that of Fulham winger Ryan Sessegnon, who is the first player outside the Premier League to nominated.

Being included in the shortlist is an achievement within itself for the 17-year-old wing back but he can be backed at to win the award.

Sessegnon has 14 goals this season, including a hat-trick back in November, as the Cottagers look to earn promotion back to the top flight after a four-year absence.

Finally, Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson is and Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford is out at 33/1 (34.0).
