Paris Saint-Germain were probably wondering how long they would have to wait until they were handed the chance to close the gap at the top of Ligue 1 by either leaders Olympique de Marseille or second-placed Olympique Lyonnais. The answer is not long. Marseille's 2-1 loss away at Montpellier HSC -- not on the hideous Altrad Stadium rugby pitch from Monday's 3-0 Coupe de France win -- means PSG already have the opportunity to pull level on points with OM.
